Why Bamboo Salt
Bamboo resin and ocher infuse the salt with magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron, zinc and dozens more.
Nine roastings shift the salt strongly alkaline — prized in Korean tradition for balance and digestion.
The ninth fire liquefies the salt entirely. It cools into violet crystal — the mark of true jukyeom.
Each batch is packed, roasted, crushed and re-packed by hand — a cycle repeated across a month and a half.
